Big Play Films, the YouTube channel of PBF's Nicholas Gurewitch (previously) has released a new video, "Mushroom Kingdom of Heaven." The highly successful Kickstarting of Gurewitch's forthcoming (& much anticipated by me) book said that excess funds would be used to produce some of his many storyboards for Big Play Films, so we can likely expect more.
It's a one joke pony (with oodles of easter eggs), but what I like about it is that it seems designed for YouTube, i.e. made with the expectation that you'll skip around rather than watch it the whole way through. (But knowing that it exists the whole way through completes the joke.) (And the easter eggs give the whole video a reason to exist, as opposed to looped videos of insane length.) Digital video's interactivity as a way to make a lengthy concept-joke without disregarding your audience's attention spans.
